I came here with my mother before a theater show at the Rep and was really pleasantly surprised. The entrees are very reasonably priced (most under 30) and a really excellent wine list if you’re in the mood for a bottle. The bone marrow we ordered was a little cold but otherwise delicious. The entrees were just fantastic though - not too salty, very tender, excellently cooked.

Second time here and hasn’t disappointed yet! We got the ricotta and bread as a starter along with tomato soup. I got the avacado toast with an egg and everything but the bagel seasoning. The mimosas were great, but pricey-spent 14 on just one. I would definitely recommend to anyone for a hearty brunch in downtown Nee Haven. People are very friendly!

This restaurant is a true culinary gem. The ambiance is an experience in itself: elegance blends with a welcoming and surprisingly tranquil atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing evening. The soft lighting creates an intimate aura, while the carefully selected background music accompanies the conversation without ever overpowering it. For sports enthusiasts, discreetly placed TVs offer the possibility to follow major events, without disturbing the overall atmosphere. The service is impeccable: the waiters demonstrate a rare attention to customers' needs, anticipating every desire with courtesy and professionalism. The menu is a real journey through unique and refined flavors, where each dish is a work of art. To start, we opted for a tomato soup and a ricotta flan. I confess I initially had some doubts about the apparent simplicity of these choices, but I was quickly proven wrong by their extraordinary goodness. The tomato soup, velvety and juicy, had a perfect texture and an intense flavor that won me over at the first taste. The ricotta flan, on the other hand, was a real explosion of flavor: the delicacy of the ricotta blended perfectly with a touch of lemon that enhanced its freshness. For the main course, we chose a salmon fillet, a dish that proved to be a masterpiece of balance and flavors. The cooking was, of course, impeccable, but what literally captivated me was the golden and crispy crust, cooked to perfection: a true delight that I usually tend to discard, but which in this case I devoured with enthusiasm. To conclude on a sweet note, I had the pleasure of tasting the pot de creme and the apple doughnuts. The pot de creme, creamy and enveloping, was a triumph of flavor that made me melt with pleasure. The apple doughnuts, warm and fragrant, were a perfect combination of the sweetness of apples and the crispness of the batter. An unforgettable experience.

We stopped in to try their brunch menu and really enjoyed our time there. We were a party of 9, and they were able to accommodate us in a separate room which made it nice. For my meal I had the burger and my wife had the eggs and prosciutto. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Absolutely fell in love with Heirloom when we visited for brunch! The sun soaked space was exactly the vibe we were looking for, and the food was phenomenal. I couldn’t resist the French toast with butterscotch bananas, and my husband enjoyed the prosciutto and eggs. We were so glad we splurged for an appetizer with the warm ricotta dip with truffle because it was SO good! The server convinced us to get dessert, and I’m so happy he did! It’s easy to see why they’re so famous for tneir apple doughnuts. Great drinks and very attentive service. It was casual yet classy in there. It was easy to tell that everything was locally sourced because the food was all so high quality. I would love to go back for lunch or dinner!

Heirloom, located inside The Study at Yale, transforms local produce and fresh ingredients into truly delicious dishes. I started with the burrata and the lobster toast featuring their signature lobster salad—both were outstanding. For dinner, I had the braised chicken tagliatelle. I expected a sauce, but it was a drier preparation, with the flavors coming from the mushrooms and herbs. As soon as I saw the chocolate cake on the menu, I knew I had to try it—it was rich and indulgent, served with salted caramel ice cream, Nutella, and a white chocolate center.
